Owen Mumford signs licensing agreement for novel specimen collection system

When asked by a leading cancer researcher for a urine collection system to meet specific diagnostic needs, the Forte Medical team designed a cost-effective and clinically accurate solution. Thanks to the company’s relationship with industry partner Owen Mumford, that device has come of age.

“Our US team identified a need for a particular collection device, requested by a global health retailer for home testing,” explains Adam Mumford Director of Owen Mumford Ltd and Commercial Director at Forte Medical. “We discussed the project with the team at Forte and they revealed existing designs for exactly what we wanted. After appropriate due diligence on both sides I am happy to confirm that a licensing agreement has been signed. We look forward to making a more detailed announcement in coming weeks.”
